Sub-Arctic Canadian Shield Explore the northeast corner of Alberta and the Precambrian rock that makes up the province’s only claim to the Canadian Shield. This is a Fly-In & Canoe out trip. Recommended trip length is 5 days. Depart from Fort Smith Northwest Territories. Canoe the Leland Lakes to the Slave River Excellent Fishing for Lake Trout, Northern Pike and Walleye.
