Our fleet with Northwestern
Air Lease Ltd. currently
consists of 12 aircraft ranging from 3 to 19 passengers.
We fly on wheels, floats
and wheel skis. Allowing us to fly-in to major airports, small bush runways
or lakes and rivers – year round!
Cessna 180
The 180 is a 3 seat plane
operating on floats in the summer and wheel/skis in the winter. Great for a
weekend trip to the cabin or for a day fly-out fishing trip. The 180 can be
used on a Canoe trip for 1 canoe and 2 people with gear.

Cessna 206
The 206 is a 6 seat plane
operating on floats in the summer and wheels in the winter. On wheels a
cargo pod is added giving you much more room. We can put up to 300 pounds
in the pod, great for small bags or up to 27 cases of pop.
 

The 206 can be configured
for up to 5 passengers; or for more cargo room we simply remove a few
seats. With all seats removed we can carry 2 drums of gas, freezers, or
even a quad!!!

BAe Jetstream 32

Northwestern Air acquired its Jetstream
32 in 2006. Benefiting from increased payload and additional
horsepower, the Jetstream 32 is also installed with an Enhanced
Performance kit allowing operation into a greater range of
airstrips. The Jetstream 32 was introduced in 1988 and is utilized
primarily for scheduled flights due to it's additional capacity but
is also offered for charters as needed. Our Jetstream 32 is GPS
equipped and capable of operating in and out of short and gravel
airstrips. |

BAe Jestream 31
|
Northwestern Air utilizes 4 Jetstream
31's in its daily operations. The Jetstream flies most of the
scheduled flights as well as being available for our charter
operations. The Jetstream 31 is a 19 passenger pressurized
turbo-prop aircraft with a stand-up cabin. Its primary use is short
haul domestic routes. Our aircraft are GPS equipped and one has
restroom facilities. Re-introduced in its current form in 1980, the
Jetstream 31 has lasted through multiple design changes and upgrades
and shows promise as a regional airliner for years to come. |

Beach 99
|
Northwestern Air has one Beechcraft 99
Airliner in its charter operations. Capable of carrying up to 14
passengers, the Beech 99 can be substituted on most scheduled runs
but is used extensively for charter operations. Being able to
takeoff and land on short, unimproved airstrips allows us to operate
the Beech 99 into most strips in the North. As well as passenger
movements, the aircraft can be configured for cargo hauling, our
Beech 99 has a cargo door to facilitate transportation of large
cargo. |

de Havilland Turbo Otter

Northwestern Air took delivery of an
amphibious Turbo Otter in 2007. Introduced in 1953, the Single Otter
has proven itself as a reliable and rugged aircraft capable of many
roles. The amphibious floatplane Otter has been utilized extensively
as a bush plane and can be fitted with wheels, skis, floats and
amphibious floats. Used for charter flights, Northwestern Air's
Single Otter has been outfitted with a turbo-prop engine. |

de Havilland Beaver

The de Havilland Beaver was first
introduced in 1948 as a bush plane for the Canadian North. This
versatile aircraft was designed to accommodate wheels, skis floats
and amphibious floats and still carry a substantial payload.
Northwestern Air acquired its Beaver in 2006 and operates it soley
for charter flights, on floats in the summer months and wheels or
skis in the winter months. |
