Larry and I  had one of  our best hunts anywhere/ever with you.  We
each took two good bears and a bison, with some real trophies.  The
best part was just being able to relax and enjoy the hunt - no nonsense, no worries,  great camp and crew. We even managed to get in a half day of fishing and took some great pike and Lakers.

Will I return to far northern Alberta to hunt black bear with Dan Wettlaufer? You bet! His territory is full of big bear and his guides rank among the best I have hunted with anywhere. – Bob Foulkrod – Bow Masters Magazine / Bass Pro Shops

Cool as a cucumber, reputation, nerves and body parts intact, right? Wrong! For at the shot the big bull reared up on his hind legs, razor edge hooves flailing in the air… I regained my composure, reloaded and raised my 7mm to shoot again. It wasn’t necessary. The moose crashed into the lake just yards from the shore...” - Ken Bailey – Big Game Adventures magazine.

When the bull got to within 20 yards of the tent he jumped into the water and started splashing around. We stood still in the tent, listening to the bull grunt as he walked around the point…At less than 50 yards he turned and provided the opportunity for a shot. At the sound of the rifle the bull jumped into the lake and worked his way amount 15 yards from shore. He was hit hard and I watched in my scope as he started to sway before falling over into the water. What a way to wake up in the morning! – Brad Fenson – Big Game Adventures magazine

I encourage each and every one of you to participate in a fly in hunt, at one point or another. You may or may not come home with the game you were seeking, but the experience of being where no man has been is not only very special and unique, it is exhilarating. The fishing can also be absolutely phenomenal. Perhaps make it easy for yourselves and simply contact Dan Wettlaufer of Reliance Air Charters. With a bit of luck – you might also find your own moose heaven! - Pierre “Big Bull” Frigon

I have to thank the folks up at Andrew Lake Lodge. They run an excellent operation, and provide sportsmen with some of the best fishing and hunting in North America. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend their services at a drop of a hat. – John Damberger

Everything was so beautiful , the air was so pure and the water you can drink right from the lake it was so pure. We saw so many rare and wild animals – bald eagles, wolves, beavers and even a lynx. The bear hunting and fishing was outstanding” – Perry Jones.
