SUGGESTED FISHING TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT

Fish Finder/ Depth Finders can be rented and help locate structure and deep holes.

Rods and Reels: Medium to medium-heavy rods with your favorite fishing reel spooled with a premium fishing line. Fly rods 8-9 weight with a good disc drag reel and WF floating line as well as a medium sinking tip line.

Tackle: Popular colors for all species of fish are; yellow with red diamond, yellow with black diamond, red and white, fire tiger, blue, silver, fluorescent orange and red, black and white, purple as well your pet colors.

Always use the best quality steel leaders and terminal tackle.

Lake Trout and Northern Pike: Len Thompson #2 & #4, Canadian Wiggler, Johnson Silver Minnow, Spinner Baits, Buzz Baits, Rapala Husky Jerk, Rapala Rattlin Rap, Rapala Minnow Spoon w/single Hook, Lucky Strike Half Wave, Mepps Syclops, Eppinger 1 oz and Husky, Ruby Eye Wiggler, Williams Wabbler and Whitefish, Zarra Spook, Wood Chopper, Jitterbug, Hula Popper, Pixee Spoons, plus any of your own favorites.

When the Lake Trout (July/August(go deep we recommend the above plus Pro King Spoons, Zingers, Buzz Bombs and other large jigs. As well as down riggers or Pink Ladies (#2)

Fly Fishing for Northern Pike: Leaders with wire tippets, Lefty’s Deceivers, Bunny Bugs, Clouser Minnows as well as any big streamer patterns.

Walleye: Wally Divers, Luhr Jensen Rock Walker, Pixee Spoons, Len Thompson #2 and smaller, Canadian Wigglers, Rapala Rattlin Rap, Rapala Floaters and Count Downs, plus the old standby jigs, as well as your own pet walleye lures.

Lake Whitefish: Len Thompson #0 and smaller, smaller spoons, small Mepps and Panther Martin spinners, small jigs and flies.
