· Hunter pick up is in Edmonton
· 6 Days of Hunting
· Hunting areas are located 2 hours northwest of Edmonton on the Athabasca River. Hunting on both Private and Crown Land.
· Mixed farmland, with miles of bush & rolling hills, rivers and an abundance of small lakes and streams.
· Year after year the Athabasca river valley produces both huge whitetail and mule deer.
· Use of quads, boats and horses are all utilized at times with trucks used to get to and from the hunting area.
· Primarily stand hunting for Whitetail. Portable ground blinds are used extensively for access in large tracks of bush.
· Stands are on elevated tripod platforms and are fully enclosed, with heaters, gun rests, swivel seats and carpeted floors.
· “In field lunches” – hunt from “dark to dark”
· Mule deer hunting in same areas as whitetail up to 40/60 mix
· More walking, stalking and glassing for mule deer, although some have been taken from stands
· License $275.00 for Single Species, $550.00 for Combination
· All guiding, transportation, meals & accommodations are included in the hunt price. GST (6%), taxes extra.
